Privacy Policy

Draft Engine processes fantasy draft information locally in your browser. It does not send your draft data to the developer or to third parties.

Information the extension accesses

When you use Draft Engine on an ESPN Fantasy football draft page, the extension reads visible draft-room information needed to provide its features. This may include completed player selections, the current overall pick, displayed round and pick information, player names, NFL teams, positions, fantasy team names, league size, and draft order.

The extension's access is limited to ESPN Fantasy football draft pages. It does not read passwords, payment information, authentication cookies, private messages, or the contents of unrelated websites.

How information is used

The extension uses visible draft information only to:

• Synchronize completed ESPN draft selections with the local draft ledger.
• Determine the current pick and the user's upcoming selections.
• Calculate and display roster-aware fantasy football recommendations.
• Restore the current draft session if the extension temporarily restarts.

Local storage

Draft settings—such as team count, draft slot, and FLEX count—and the current draft session are stored locally using Chrome extension storage. This information remains on your device and is used only to operate the extension.

Ranking updates

The extension periodically downloads a public, data-only player ranking file from the developer's GitHub Pages site. The request does not include ESPN draft selections, rosters, league settings, or other draft-room content. Valid rankings are cached locally so the extension can continue working if the ranking file is temporarily unavailable.

GitHub may receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and request time, when it serves the public ranking file. GitHub handles that information under its own privacy practices. Draft Engine does not use this request for analytics, advertising, or user tracking.

Data sharing and advertising

Draft Engine:

• Does not transmit your ESPN draft information to the developer.
• Does not transmit your ESPN draft information to third parties.
• Does not sell personal information or draft information.
• Does not use information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
• Does not include analytics or tracking services.

Data retention and deletion

Because the extension stores settings and draft state locally, the developer does not maintain a server-side copy to retain or delete. You can remove locally stored extension data by clearing Draft Engine's extension storage in Chrome or by uninstalling the extension.

Security

Draft Engine is designed to minimize data access. Its draft engine and recommendation logic are bundled with the extension and run locally in the browser. Ranking updates contain data only and cannot change or execute recommendation logic. The extension does not automatically make draft selections or request access to unrelated websites.

Children's privacy

Draft Engine does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users. The extension does not operate a user account system or transmit user data to the developer.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Draft Engine's functionality or data practices change. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
